You should definitely read this if you're new to my blog

I AM SO COM

PLETELY PUZZLED!! I wasn’t expecting my post to get so much attention, considering that

  1. This is a personal blog with no fangirling feelz involved at all or at least most part of it
  2. I was depressed and I was venting my inner thoughts lmao
  3. WHAT

I come back after a few hours and I see I gained 30+ followers for some reason AND OVER 200 NOTES ON MY FREAKING POST LIKE…

I DON’T KNOW WHAT TO SAY, REALLY!!

I JUST KNOW THAT I DON’T FEEL LONELY ANYMORE…. REALLY THANKS!

I’LL BE SO HAPPY SHARING MY EXPERIENCES LIVING IN CHINA NOW THAT I HAVE MORE AUDIENCE! lol

Anyhow, since most people in here don’t know who I am, I decided to make a short introduction about myself.

  • First of all, Hello. I won’t tell you my real name for now, but you can call me either Hiro or Chiaki.
  • I am a proud sogeogi in baekhyun and Tao’s words a.k.a, a taurus.
  • I am currently 18 years young i can’t write the word old because it hurts my soul
  • My mother is hispanic, my father is asian, so yeah I’m a mixed baby.
  • This is a picture of my face. I was bored that day and a new make up tutorial came out, so don’t mind me, lol.
  • I am a former obese person, so yes, I like food and yes, 80% of my life consists in craving/no eating/eating too much/guilt.
  • I sing
  • I dance
  • I draw
  • I write
  • I fangirl

Now, a short introduction about my blog.

  • This is a personal blog, which means that in here, 98% of posts are text posts and are all about personal stuff going on in my life.
  • I’d say I’m fairly active in here, so don’t get annoyed if I update 5 times a day or once every 2 weeks
  • This is MY blog and I’ll state MY PERSONAL OPINIONS in here, so if you are sensitive about that, you already know what to do.
  • I’m more than happy to answer any questions you have as long as it isn’t about my race, because like O-Ren Ishii:

p.s. i’m not chinese nor american, but you get it right? lol

Anyhow, with that said, let’s begin with the actual post.

I’ve been covering songs in Youtube since 2010, so I know pretty much every single Kpop coverist in there (except the new ones of course) and there was this girl, that was really famous between the coverists-circle. Her name is Joanna and she’s from England.

Everyone was so amazed because she can speak korean pretty much semi-fluently. Like, she can express herself quite well in korean without stuttering, and she’s been to Seoul sooo many times.

Long story short, she disappeared one day.

Today, I finally “found” her again.

We were never friends, but it was nice to see what she’s been up to. She moved to China and lived in Changsha and Beijing for like a year. I knew she had a blog, but the first time I found it and read it I thought she was stuck-up and never read it again. Today I found it once more and oh boy, I was so wrong.

I literally spent around one and a half hours reading all her posts and yeah, I’ve already learnt quite some stuff about chinese life.

She was on TV and modeled and her youtube covers were on TV… she basically almost debuted as an artist in China! And also, with every foreigner, there has to be some racial-related experiences.

She’s white and she dyed her hair blonde, so yeah, she was not only stared at but also everyone wanted to approach her and talk to her. Some experiences she had and wrote about are just way too amazing. Like stuff you only see in corny korean dramas.

And once again, I’m proud that my cultural heritage gave me dark straight hair, short height and almond-shaped eyes. Getting harassed by strangers is something I’m definitely not looking forward to. Unless there is some luhan-lookalike, then yes.

So I send a message to Joanna, asking her for survival tips. Hopefully, she’ll reply ><

Now about me and WHY I’m moving to the amazing lands of China.

I’m basically going there as an Au Pair. In fewer words, an Au Pair is a live-in nanny. I get to live in a house with a rich family where they feed me and pay for my chinese classes and I get to take care of the children in my free time. Sounds pretty reasonable to me considering that it’s in a completely different country and you’re basically another member of their family.

I’ll be going there and living there for 6 months. No, I don’t get to choose the city, it depends on the family that picks me.

And if you were wondering, No, I don’t speak chinese.

I learnt some mando in my freshman year in HS, but yeah, that’s all. Plus, i’m moving to a southern city, which means: no mandarin, but Cantonese.

Yay me.

Basically, this is the greatest adventure I’ll be embarking on.

And the first of many others. I swear.

China is a place I always wanted to visit, but it is not my main goal

I already have a dream and a goal, and in order to achieve it, I must go to China first.

I can’t tell you about that yet, but probably some day I will.

I think that’s all for now, I’ll be posting more updates in the coming days.

Don’t forget to check my dream blog, that is basically updated almost every day because EXO haunts me 24/7 and even in my dreams!!
